SHOW UP – SPEAK UP – GATHER TOGETHER
NEXT RALLY DATE IN VERNON, BC:
September 19, 10:30am – 1:00pm
Seniors Tin Cup will be out once again rallying to draw attention to the fact that seniors are not provided enough pension to live with dignity.
A lot of seniors live below $25,000 poverty line.
We are not asking for money from the public – we ask that the Federal Government increase the Guaranteed Income Supplement, so that ALL Canadian Seniors can live with dignity.
JOIN US FOR THE NEXT RALLY
We will be sitting at the Main intersections on 30th Avenue and HWY 97 in Vernon, BC on September 19th from 10:30am – 1:00pm.
Make and bring your signs and a chair and sit with us in solidarity.
Support each other as we try to bring attention to those seniors who live below the poverty line.

PLEASE CONTACT CAROLE FAWCETT IF YOU CAN HELP ORGANIZE.
We will provide instructions – it’s not that difficult and should not require too much time, other than getting the word out/posters to seniors and other groups/media, and using your own networks of friends and colleagues.
